Today I thought I would share with you some images I took for an internship task I was set last week, as I didn't initially intend to put this on the blog unfortunately it isn't a detailed outfit post but more of a snapshot of what I was wearing.
I picked up this oversized striped tee (made even bigger by the wind blowing up it whilst I was trying to take these - thank you British weather) from Zara last week for £5.99 along with these silver flats that I found in the sale which I am just in love with. I must admit, the shoes are a killer to break in and I am suffering from blisters right now, but I've been after some silver shoes for a while now after getting inspiration from Sammi at Beautycrush because I think they add a bit of edge to simple outfits like this. I don't wear round neck oversized t-shirts often, usually I opt for a more flattering v-neck as I think they suit my style better, however I am a sucker for stripes and was just drawn to this for some reason. I like to pair oversized tops with something more fitted on the bottom, so I chose to wear the tee with black skinny jeans then added my go-to cat-eye sunglasses for a bit of elegance and a red lip to inject some colour, making the outfit more me. I love the ease and effortlessness of this look, it's definitely one to just throw on when you aren't sure what to wear as the accessories make it look much more stylish and put together.
I know that these images aren't the best but I hope you enjoyed reading this and I'm definitely going to try and do personal style/outfit posts more frequently - I just need a bit more practice, so any tips are welcome!
